THE TEACHER WITHIN
THE TRUE SELF WITHIN
THE BALANCE WITHIN
Our Mission
We believe that everyone has the potential to be a teacher, a guide, and a source of inspiration in their own life. We are committed to providing resources and support to help people discover their inner teacher, connect with their true self, and find balance within.
Our Values
Empowerment: We believe that everyone has the power to learn and grow. We are committed to providing resources and support that empower people to take control of their own learning and development.
Inclusion: We believe that everyone has something to teach and learn. We are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing their unique gifts and perspectives.
Authenticity: We believe that the best way to learn is to be yourself. We are committed to creating a space where people can be their authentic selves and learn from each other in a safe and supportive environment.
“Through intense deep meditation you reach a state that is beyond thought, beyond change, beyond imagination, beyond differences and duality. Once you can stay in that state for a while and come out of it without losing any of it, then the inner divine love will begin to pour through you. You will not see people as different, separate individuals. You will see your own Self in everyone around you. Then the flow of love from within you will be constant and unbroken. ”
Tina Guo, Founder & Teacher
Tina began her yoga journey in 2010, drawn by curiosity and a desire to explore something new. What started as a personal practice soon unfolded into a profound path of self-discovery, inner awareness, and transformation. Over the years, yoga has become far more than a physical discipline for her—it has become a way of living that continues to shape how she moves through life, relates to herself, and connects with the world around her.
Raised in a rural environment where traditional expectations often defined what was considered possible for women, Tina grew up in a culture that valued security and convention over self-expression. Yet even during financially limited years in college, she chose to invest in practices like yoga and dance—choices that may have seemed impractical to others, but ultimately became pivotal in helping her reconnect with her inner world. Those early experiences opened a doorway to something much deeper: a life guided not by external expectations, but by authenticity, purpose, and a growing trust in her own inner knowing.
Through years of study and practice, Tina has come to believe that love, joy, peace, and connection are not distant ideals to be earned, but essential qualities already within us. Yoga, for her, is a practice of remembrance—a return to what is most true beneath conditioning, fear, and self-doubt. Through her teaching, she hopes to create spaces where others can reconnect with that truth, awaken their innate wisdom, and live with greater presence, clarity, and wholeness.
Veronica DeRosa, Co-founder & Teacher
Veronica has been in the health care field for over 25 years. She first came to yoga looking for a way to sustain her work as an Oncology Nurse. This opened the door to viewing health not only through the western lens, but through the lens of treating the whole person. This new outlook led Veronica to find integrative modalities to support individuals that have been exposed to stressful life events in their personal and professional lives.
Her journey started by learning Reiki (energy medicine) from the Sisters of St. Joseph and continues to unfold with the focus on the body, breath, movement and sound to decrease stress and improve overall wellbeing. She believes in meeting individuals “where they are at, in this moment in time”. Through collaboration, compassion, and support she empowers the individual to build awareness of their body, mind, and soul through all their layers of experience.
As a part of Veronica’s mission to bring yoga into the community she has received 500 RYT Integrative Yoga training, IAYT-Q Yoga Therapeutics in Healthcare training, and Mental Health Certificate with YogaX at Stanford Psychiatry. She also trained in Kundalini yoga, a practice that utilizes movement, breath, and mantra to bring balance to the body’s system. In addition to Veronica’s extensive Yoga training, she is a Board-Certified Nurse, Health and Wellness Coach, Therapeutic Breathwork Practitioner, Compassionate Bereavement Care Provider, and Reiki Master.
Arnaud Berry, CTO & Teacher
Arnaud started yoga in 2007 as a stiff software engineer, and slowly added more and earlier classes to his practice. While Arnaud has dabbled in various vinyasa flow and anusara classes, he’s always felt that ashtanga was the core of his practice and is grateful that Beata, Mojdeh and Anne Finstad gave him a strong foundation rooted in precise alignments.
In 2014, after subbing Gopi Kallayil’s class at work a few times, Arnaud completed Tim Miller's introduction to first series teacher training in Tulum and started teaching a weekly class for his coworkers. In 2015 and 2016, he completed Tim's first and second series teacher trainings. He has also taken regular yoga vacations to practice with Tim in Encinitas and in Shasta.
Arnaud is thankful for the many other teachers who have been helping him on his yoga journey : Anne Namur, Arpita Ohsiek, Atsuro Chiba, David Swenson, Holly Gastil, Jodi Blumstein, Katrin Kuttner, Keyko Pintz, Kirsten Berg, Lauren Anas, Leigha Nicole, Mitchell Gold, Natasha Teran, Vincent Santos… Their different perspectives helped him through personal challenges (stiffness, injuries), and gave him a more compassionate approach that focuses on building a safe and strong foundation for each student, while encouraging them to go beyond what their mind believes they can do.
